God zegene U/Semoga Tuhan memberkati anda/Wasalamu alaikum warohma tullahi wabarokatuh.. vanuit/dari Bdg.

My father, Johannes Bertrand know as Bert Snabilie, sang a song which is in Dutch, English and Malais. He played the guitar in a group which partially consisted of soldiers in the Dutch Army "TRIS" in Paramaribo, Suriname (South America)and others. The members of the group called "The Royal Hawaiian Players" all have roots in or were born in Indonesia.

I am looking for the text of this song, of which the title could be "Sarinandei" and the song is I think about Ambon.

I know a few words:

"When tropic moon light signs .....
A wonderfull tropic night ...... ambone
and something wisphers ole sio sajangee
and when I hear the song Sarinandei
The sorrow in my heart .......
I never will forget my Ambon Manisee.

Does any one know this song and E-mail it to me and also the meaning of the parts that I do not know which are in Malais.

Regards
Peggy Snabilie

Hi all,

I am native born in Semarang now live in Yogyakarta. I run my own small-scale handicraft and furniture business here. By this opportunity, I would like to seek Netherlands based partnership to promote my beautiful products collections that mostly hand-made by local artisans. The partner I am looking for will be acting as marketing representative of my products (sales office) and here, I take the responsibility as production department. This is open opportunity both for Indonesian and The Dutch that is interested in. Please do not hesitate to drop your words to my email. Thank you.
